Volunteer With Us Virtually Feb- April

What is Prototype Support?

Each year, middle and high school students join Project Invent and embark on a journey to invent products for social good. In May, student teams will pitch their products in front of a panel of judges at Demo Day. As a Prototype Support volunteer, you will provide hardware support to teams as they design their early- stage prototype- helping navigate the building and technology side of their project.

Who should volunteer?

This opportunity is for professionals who have experience building products using hardware such as Arduino and are comfortable brainstorming with students, providing technical assistance, and troubleshooting. Professional backgrounds can include engineering, product, hardware, robotics, and more!

What will i do?

During the months of February 2024 - May 2024, you will meet virtually with our student teams to help assist them in designing their early-stage prototypes. The time commitment is 1-2 hours/week. A volunteer training will be provided in early winter.

*If you are not available for the full timeframe, please let us know so that we can accommodate your schedule.
