Project Invent Announces FutureFest 2023

CELEBRATING INNOVATIVE EDUCATION AND SOCIAL IMPACT

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA - June 1, 2023 - Project Invent, the national nonprofit that empowers middle and high school students to invent for social good, is proud to announce the highly anticipated return of FutureFest 2023–an annual event celebrating the future of innovative education and social impact. Taking place on June 9th, 2023, at The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, California, FutureFest will showcase student teams from across the country as they share their invention journey and pitch their innovative solutions and prototypes to real-world problems.

FutureFest 2023 will bring together innovators, engineers, tech leaders, young professionals, students, educators, administrators, and donors interested in Project Invent and the future of education. Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the creativity and ingenuity of student teams as they present their prototypes and solutions to social problems. Project Invent will recognize outstanding members of its community with three annual awards - Fellow of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Community Partner of the Year.

The Tech Museum of Innovation, renowned for its commitment to fostering creativity and exploration, will serve as the host venue for FutureFest 2023. Project Invent is thrilled to host FutureFest 2023 at The Tech and showcase the next generation of inventors and changemakers.

FutureFest 2023 presents an opportunity for individuals and organizations to support Project Invent's mission of empowering middle and high school students to invent technologies for social good. With over 800 students served across the nation, including schools serving low-income communities, Project Invent prioritizes diversity and inclusion, with over half of students identifying as female or non-binary and over half representing Black, Indigenous, Latinx youth, and/or first-generation college attendees.

Founded in 2018 in Palo Alto, California, Project Invent empowers students with 21st-century skills to succeed individually and impact globally, through invention.
